More cage lights… YES! I don’t know about you, but I’m still ok with this industrial look.
These are newly released… by Bodie and Fou!

The Bent Arm Workstead wall sconce can be repositioned… I love that.
It comes in sizes S, M, and L… I’m mad about that.
Choose from black, blue and red… I’m crushing on that.
In the end… I just WANT that.

Here’s just a glimpse of what I want… so many options to pick from: floor lamps to wall sconces to ceiling fixtures. Not to mention multiple heads, articulating arms BUT always that black, matte finish.
Seriously… Serge Mouille light fixtures are my ‘always want’!

Organic shapes made from hand-blown glass, strung together with elements of bronze, brass or nickel… Lindsey Adelman‘s light fixtures are considered more starlight than lamplight. Meaning… they’re very special.
Bunches of grapes where the seeds are the bulb filaments. Batons of lights twirling en masse. Melting vessels captured by paperclips. These are just my Rorschach impressions. But that’s what art is supposed to allow… your own impression and perception.
The bonus: they beautifully light up a room too!
I can’t wait to hear what your impressions are… Do you see what I see?

Vintage cage lights are really popular these days. Loads of character and yet so simple in their design. Form meets function and nothing more. I love that kind of simplicity.
And the Edison-Filament light bulb completes the look but there’s always the Plumen bulb for a more eco-wise choice.
Some links… if you’re interested:
Plumen – designer low energy light bulb
Eclectic Revival – vintage fixtures and so much more (here in Toronto)
Commute Home – great store (here in Toronto) where they make cool everything
West Elm – cool light bulbs (to complete the look)
