Interiors: Clooney & Istanbul Intrigue

May 21, 2012 § 7 Comments

I’ve always thought Istanbul would be exotic… now I’m convinced. Intrigue. Glamour. Allure. It’s all here in this interior.

I especially love the kitchen… That island is so grand! And I love the windowed cabinets, the tilted mirror and the hanging pot rack along the wall. The subway tiles and the painted brickwork adds texture and pattern. Coffered ceiling. Brass touches for warmth. Some elements refined. Some unfinished. It’s exposed. And it’s detailed. And it’s rich with personality.

Can’t you see this as a movie set?! It’s definitely a George Clooney type setting in my mind.
